Three years ago, I finally sat down to write it.

The Guardians of Eternity is a mythopoeic fantasy trilogy — epic in scope, theological in its bones, and deeply personal in what it asks of its characters. Book I, The Covenant of the First Earth, follows four chosen guardians across four kingdoms as they face an enemy who doesn’t conquer with armies alone. He whispers. He offers freedom, power, and a truth that sounds almost right. And one by one, the people they love start listening.

This trilogy spans the full arc of creation — from the first earth to the great flood, from the rise of mankind to a moment I won’t spoil yet, except to say that the story knows where it’s going, and it has known from the beginning.

I’m Dr. Raymundo Montero — a Cuban-born physician, a theologian trained at the Havana Baptist Seminary, and now, at last, a writer. I created this space to share the journey behind these books: the world-building, the theology that shaped the cosmology, the characters who became more real to me than I expected, and the road from a decade of imagining to a finished novel.
